Location: Sanger High School, room TBA
Enrollment: Offered as an elective to all Cal-SAFE students during 6th period (SHS students). Childcare is provided.
Class Information:  This course helps students learn about child development and parenting skills.  Students discover a broader range of positive parenting alternatives to help manage stress. The students also learn to develop and put into practice the skills that are needed to be an effective parent.  The class focus is on the importance of parents and on their strengths.  They come to recognize that parents are the foundations and decision makers of the family. Students also participate in parent/child learning groups on a weekly basis.
